The Wisp is done! I took some pictures before packing it up.
Loved the pattern – just as I was getting sick of it, I checked the website for how many repeats and I’d already done 2 extra. It seems to have blocked out to a really nice size though. So airy and delicate. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants to try lace but just wants to dip a little toe. Really quite painless for a huge payoff.
I went with larger buttons because I skipped the eyelets, so the entire stole is buttonholes. I think it looks really pretty with the big shell buttons. I think they’re about 3/4 inch wide.
