My poor Mom. She has been waiting and waiting for this Wisp to be done. Soon! Soon! Yesterday I blocked to within exactly one inch of its life and it has opened up beautifully. It’s a little uneven as I couldn’t find my long straight edge, but I got it pretty darn close, and I think it’ll be great.
It’s sort of magical how much you can stretch it out. I enjoyed it. I was worried it would be a step (like swatching) that I might have to trudge through, but it’s kind of exciting to see the pattern come out, and there’s a rhythm to it. (I don’t much mind swatching anymore either.)
My dog tends to follow me wherever I go in the house, and he settled down to guard me from any intruders who might interrupt my Important Lace Blocking Mission (ILBM).
Of course, it didn’t take long for him to be asleep on the job.
Also, can buttons be delicious? I am in love with these. Got them in a little mixed-size bag at Hancock for half price, yay!

Your “poor mom” is enjoying following your blocking journey (ILBM) I’ve never done much blocking, so you’re ahead of me on this ( and lots of other stuff!).
Your watch …or not…dog, aka snooze dog is adorable, as usual and…I love your buttons.
