Qualified

I went back for the second round of qualification as a prospective juror on Friday and they determined that I am indeed qualified.   I feel awful.  All I can do is be honest and at least I’ve got my integrity, but I really don’t want to serve in this case.  I’m proud to do my civic duty, but this time it is just awful.  I’m trying to distract myself from it, but I drift back to the faces and echos of the questions I was asked and I want to vomit.  I always thought in books and movies that the whole "OMG vomit" thing was an interesting device, but not realistic.  Now I’m starting to believe.

Anyway, I had a great weekend and got to hang out and relax a bit.  Got past the dumb written instructions for the Hemlock Ring and now I’m working off of the chart, which is so much easier for me.  I keep looking at the knitting and marveling that I knit something so intricate and complicated.  Definitely a good boost to the old psyche.  I’ll try to remember to take pictures tonight or tomorrow.
